Hard gel or soft gel: what should you book?

How to talk about shape, structure and maintenance when choosing your next manicure.

Rose chrome almond manicure by Evelina at Eva Beauty

Begin with the look you want

A service name is only the start of the conversation. Think about whether you prefer a short natural silhouette or a more defined shape, a sheer finish or a saturated color. A reference photo can help Evelina understand what you have in mind.

Hard gel and structure

Hard gel creates a firm coating with structure built into the application. Eva Beauty pairs it with detailed dry preparation in the signature Russian manicure with hard gel. The price is $90, with a four-week wear guarantee.

Where soft gel fits

Soft gel is another option for a glossy finish. Product systems differ, so the right choice depends on the actual service and your nails, not only the category name. Ask Evelina which option suits your preferred length and everyday routine. Soft gel is $80 for a Russian manicure or a Russian pedicure. Both services also offer no polish for $60, regular polish for $70 and hard gel for $90.

Plan for maintenance

Hard gel needs professional maintenance and filing for removal. Avoid peeling or pulling off the coating yourself. Agree on a return interval with Evelina; natural nail growth and your individual needs still matter alongside the four-week wear guarantee.

You can ask before you decide

You do not need to be an expert in nail products to book a manicure. Review the service list, bring your ideas and discuss the finish with Evelina. If you are unsure which service to select, call the studio before reserving a time.
